The Armata Bianca has as its primary purpose the spiritual care of children with their Consecration to the Father in Mary and with the formation of Prayer Nests. The purpose of this site is to inform about what the Armata Bianca is, about the spirit that animates it, about its ecclesiality and about what it has achieved and intends to achieve.
“Father Eusebio, take my weapon from the pocket of my habit.” Father Eusebio did not understand and Padre Pio pointed to the pocket of his habit where his rosary was. His closest spiritual children had understood well what the rosary meant to Padre Pio. Cleonice Morcaldi wrote: “the evening before he died he was in his usual place, on the veranda, with the weapon in his hand.” Hence the name “Armata.”
The Prayer Nests are made up of children who, following the example of the three Little Shepherds of Fatima, gather together to pray the Rosary and, whenever possible, to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
A Prayer Nest can be formed in many places and in different ways, but the most natural and suitable settings are the family, the church, and the school.
All those who are little in age and all those who are willing to become “little in spirit” should consecrate themselves to the Father by saying, like Mary, their unconditional “yes” to His Will.
“Unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 18:3).
