The Armata Bianca is always close to its “Daddy”

-On April 8, 1981, 700 children from the Armata Bianca of Naples met with the Pope in St. Peter’s Square. Poland was living further difficult times because of the farmers’ riots. The children promised to pray, and after a few days the farmers’ union was recognized.

- On May 13, 1981 the Sanctuary of Capodimonte in Naples was packed with children who consecrated themselves to the Father through Mary by offering their lives for the Church and for the Pope; on that day the Pope was shot in St. Peter’s Square but, miraculously, wasn’t killed.

- On June 3, 1981 more than 1,000 children – gathered in the cathedral of St. Justin of Chieti by request of the Archbishop Msgr. Vincenzo Fagiolo who celebrated Holy Mass – made their consecration and recited the Rosary so that the Pope would be discharged from the hospital: on the evening of the same day, at 7:00 pm, against the doctors’ opinion, the Pope returned to the Vatican in order to spend Pentecost there.
