“Do you want to offer yourselves to God,
willing to endure all the sufferings
He may wish to send you,
as an act of reparation
for the sins by which He is offended,
and in supplication for the conversion of sinners?”

The main goal of the White Army is to invite children to consecrate themselves to God through Mary, thus placing them safely in the Heart of the Father and making them active instruments of co-redemption.

Those who extend this invitation to the little ones are continuing the mission begun by Mary with the three shepherd children on May 13, 1917. It is not a role of prominence, but of being an instrument of Mary—becoming small in order to speak to the little ones, lending her their voice.

Inviting children to consecrate themselves to God brings about a direct intervention of the Holy Spirit who, at their “yes,” renews the life-giving action of the Annunciation: after Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta responded “yes” to Our Lady’s invitation, “She opened her hands, and we were enveloped in a very intense light that seemed to come from her hands and penetrated our hearts and souls. That light was God.” (from the Memoirs of Lucia)

Anyone who goes to speak to children must be deeply aware of the sacredness of this mission and must prepare spiritually, becoming a docile instrument of the Holy Spirit in order to bring, with humility and joy, this message of Light to the little ones. Their first duty, therefore, must be their own sanctification, committing themselves to:

• The offering of themselves to the Father, willing to live His Will, in Mary, with Mary, and for Mary;

• Weekly confession, or at least every two weeks;

• Daily Mass;

• Daily Communion;

• Daily recitation of the Rosary;

• Daily or at least weekly Eucharistic Adoration;

• Daily spiritual reading and meditation on Scripture and the lives of the Saints.

During the consecration, the adults accompanying the children should remain in constant prayer, asking the intercession of the Angels so that the children may be attentive and able to welcome in their hearts the invitation of Our Lady.
